This is Tim's favorite lemon cake recipe.
Lemon Sheet Cake
- 1 box of lemon cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 1 (16oz) can of lemon pie filling
- lemon zest (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, add the 4 eggs and beat for at least 30 seconds. Add the lemon cake mix, mix until incorporated. Add the can of lemon pie filling mixing well. Spread into a greased 15x10x1 baking pan. Note I used a 13×9 and cooked it longer. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool before frosting.
